So have you ever asked the question of will The Testament of Sister New Devil return.
Now this is a series that came out back in 2015 which is coming up to 10 years.
This anime has been out for quite a while. The original anime came out January the 8th of 2015 and the last installment was an OVA that came out January of 2018.
So it’s been a while since the original series came out.
Now the final volume of the light novel which is it is based on the light novel came out in 2021 and that was volume 13.
Now you’d be asking the question of okay well then how much did the anime cover.
So the first season covered light novel volumes 1 to 3. Second season covered light novel volumes 4 to 7 and the OVA departures and Loosely adapts Volume 8.
You can gather that there is kind of enough material for another season but it sort of as some of the wording goes it Loosely kind of goes about how it goes on volume 8.
There is enough material for a third season or even an OVA or a movie
But it’s one of those where yeah the final volume came out back in 2021. So it’s one of those where I feel like if it was going to get another season I feel like we possibly would have heard something by now.
It’s one of those where it’s like yeah back then men were they pumping out some good stuff. This is definitely one of those where if you loved High School DxD you would have loved this as well
Then you also had other ones like Trinity Seven that’s an also good classic as well. So I do think it’s one of those where if the 10th anniversary has come and gone and nothing’s been announced then it’s a no.
I think the chances are drastically low but I think the best chance is the 10th anniversary which will be January of 2025
That’s where I think it will go so that that’s as as clear cut and dry as I can keep it clean.
